The Garland County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate the discovery of probable human remains near Blackmon Road off Highway 7 North. The County Coroner gave the remains to the State Crime Lab for DNA analysis.
Amir Ellis, a 19-year-old resident of Hot Springs, disappeared on May 16, 2023. The bones discovered near Jessieville, Arkansas, on December 16, 2023, were identified as those of Ellis.
I just saw where the remains of Amir Ellis have been found and positively identified. I am very happy for his family but it hurts my heart knowing Spencer is still out there somewhere.

The Garland County Sheriff’s Office was initially sent to the location on December 18 as human remains were possibly found. Authorities collected the remains and sent them to the Arkansas State Crime Lab. Ellis’ mother, Jessica Ellis, has been searching for him and rallying volunteers. Ellis was reported missing to the Hot Springs Police Department on March 17, and in May, he was kidnapped, with three teens arrested and charged.
