Stewart Rhodes Wife: Is Stewart Rhodes Married? – Stewart Rhodes graduated from high school in Las Vegas before joining the United States Army, where he was honorably discharged after 7 months due to a spinal injury sustained during airborne school.

Rhodes earned money by parking cars while studying political science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In his first year, he turned down well-paid internships in order to work at a conservative think tank.

He worked as a staffer for Republican Congressman Ron Paul after graduating in 1998. Rhodes enrolled in Yale Law School in 2001, where he was noted as a defender of gun rights and for being well-intentioned with those with whom he disagreed politically.

In the aftermath of the September 11 attacks, he became dissatisfied with what he saw as eroding rights. Rhodes taught self-defense, and his paper on enemy combatant classification during George W. Bush’s presidency won an award in his final year at Yale. He received his diploma in 2004.

Rhodes clerked for Michael D. Ryan, an associate justice on the Arizona Supreme Court, after graduating from Yale. He worked as a lawyer in several Western states.

Rhodes was disbarred by the Montana Supreme Court on December 8, 2015, for violating the Montana Rules of Professional Conduct by refusing to respond to two bar grievances filed against him in federal district court in Arizona.

In March 2009, Rhodes established the Oath Keepers. The organization was founded in Lexington, Massachusetts, the site of the first battle of the American Revolutionary War. The launch occurred two months into Barack Obama’s presidency.

Under his leadership, the Oath Keepers instructed its members in 2013 to form “Citizen Preservation” teams, which included militias, to operate in communities across the United States in order to defend citizens against the government intentionally allowing the country to devolve into chaos before declaring martial law and repealing the constitution.

Rhodes has worked with anti-government organizations such as the Tenth Amendment Center and the Northwest Patriots. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, he is an “extremist.”

For two months following the 2020 US presidential election, Rhodes encouraged his supporters to vote against Joe Biden as the incoming president. To prevent Biden’s inauguration, Rhodes spoke of the need to take up arms and launched a campaign to persuade then-President Donald Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807, deploying the military and the Oath Keepers as a militia.

After a nine-week trial, Rhodes and Kelly Meggs were convicted of seditious conspiracy and evidence tampering in relation to the January 6, 2021, United States Capitol attack on November 29, 2022.

Rhodes married Tasha Adams in 1994, after meeting her a few years before in Las Vegas. When they met, Adams was 18 years old and working at an Arthur Murray Dance studio, and Rhodes was a 25-year-old college student.

Adams supported Rhodes’ education by working as an exotic dancer during their marriage. Prior to their marriage, Rhodes shot himself in the face after dropping a 0.22 handgun, destroying his eyeball and necessitating the use of a prosthetic eyeball.

Adams filed for divorce in 2018, accusing Rhodes of emotional and physical abuse; the divorce was still pending in November 2022.
